Gilt & Gravity, operated by Kevin Beaumier as a sole proprietorship (“Gilt & Gravity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates giltandgravity.com and related services (the “Services”). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • identity and contact information, including name, email, telephone number, and billing and shipping addresses;

  • order and transaction information, including products viewed or purchased, returns, communications, and payment confirmation;

  • account information and preferences;

  • device, browser, IP address, approximate location, cookie, analytics, advertising, and website-usage information;

  • customer-service messages, reviews, survey responses, and information you voluntarily provide; and

Payment-card details are generally processed directly by Shopify and payment providers. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

Why we use information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to Shopify; payment processors; suppliers and fulfillment partners; carriers; customer-support, cloud, analytics, security, accounting, legal, email, and advertising providers; professional advisers; authorities when required by law; and parties involved in a business reorganization or transfer. We do not disclose personal information for unrelated purposes without consent unless permitted or required by law.

Shopify

Transfers outside Québec

Some providers may process or store information outside Québec or Canada, where different laws may apply and lawful access by foreign authorities may be possible. We use reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards and assess privacy considerations as required by applicable law.

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including order administration, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message; transactional messages will continue where necessary. We may verify identity before acting on a request and will respond within applicable legal timelines.

Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without valid authorization. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the revised version and update the date above, and will provide any notice required by law.

The person with the highest authority in the business acts as Privacy Officer unless the function is delegated in writing.
